The CW has begun taking pictures the pilot for its upcoming Powerpuff Women live-action collection, in keeping with a report from TMZ. Filming for the collection, merely titled “Powerpuff,” is underway in Atlanta. TMZ’s photograph gallery exhibits actors Chloe Bennett, Yana Perrault, and Dove Cameron, who respectively play Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles for the present, in full Powerpuff regalia.
Donald Faison, who will play Powerpuff creator Professor Utonium, waves to the photographer in a single photograph, as nicely. These are set manufacturing pictures, so issues are fairly uncooked, with Bennett’s flight harness ropes clearly seen within the images. Not noticed in any of the images is Nicholas Podany, who will probably be enjoying the live-action model of Powerpuff villain Mojo Jojo.
The present picks up with the women of their mid-twenties, disillusioned by a childhood of crime combating and estranged from Professor Utonium. Seems like HBO Max’s Titans, however with brilliant colours and fewer Batman-related swears.
Proper now, Powerpuff is just set for a pilot, and has not but been despatched to collection. Diablo Cody (Juno) and Heather Regnier (Sleepy Hole) are writing and producing the collection, together with CW stalwarts like Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. There is no phrase but on when–or if–we’ll see the Powerpuff pilot.
